Nate Lockett is a technologist, entrepreneur, business strategist, and founder of Think Mission and Think Insights. Throughout his career, he has focused on a deceptively simple question: what becomes possible when better systems give people their time and capacity back?
His experience spans finance, analytics, data leadership, automation, consulting, and software development. Today, he applies that multidisciplinary background to nonprofits, small businesses, and entrepreneurs that often lack the technical resources available to larger institutions.
Through Think Mission, Nate is building AI-native infrastructure designed specifically for mission-driven organizations. His forthcoming book, Mission Capacity: How Nonprofits Can Use AI to Do More Without Becoming Less, challenges conventional AI-first thinking and proposes a capacity-first alternative: automate administrative burden while protecting human judgment, community trust, and frontline mission delivery.
He also serves as a curriculum partner with FINNOVATION Institute, helping entrepreneurs understand and use technology more effectively.
